For the first time in club history, Firestone Robotics competed in the Kalahari Classic Indoor Water-park Multi-State Event. Through the weekend Firestone competed against the 102 teams that participated. At the end of the 2 long days, Team A won the states qualifying design award. The middle school team that Firestone hosts and mentors also won the middle school design award, which qualifies them for states. The teams were able to take a trip to Kalahari's indoor water-park during their night off from competing. Overall it was a very exciting and rewarding weekend.
