It's That Time Again...

On May 15th, 2018, we confirmed our set of rules for the coming season and elected our 2018 - 2019 robotics club officers by a majority vote.

We began the meeting by stating the club bylaws and discussing the terms and conditions to them. Throughout the previous year, there had been a few grey areas that were found in the laws, and the previous officers and helpers had felt it necessary to reaffirm the bylaws, something that is now planned to be a process that will occur around elections every year. Our club took a vote on the bylaws and they were approved.

You can locate the bylaws here.

After we had approved the bylaws, we moved onto the elections. The elections were for selecting the new robotics club officers, the representatives of our club. After all, this is a primarily student-run program, meaning that every snack passed out during club, every website made, and all the opening meeting presentations are all conducted by students.
